change to About Gero Gröschel lives in Stuttgart, Germany. He works as a commercial photographer and photoartist where he stages and photographes people that are sexy and always with an aesthetic claim. Since he bought his first camera in the year 1997, he has rarely put it out of hand and has developed his style consequently. His pictures are striking and the parallels to advertising photography are not accidental. Reduction to the essential is an attribute of his way of working, which often adds a graphical component to his works. Whether classic or vanguard, his pictures showcase straight and right to the point. Allmost all works shown here have been produced in his studio, which gives him ideal conditions to achieve the often pretentious lighting. Gero Gröschel has not forgotten how to do experiments from the time he studied design at the academy of arts. On the search after expressive pictures, he likes to experiment with colors, materials, backdrops, lightening or unusual ways of image editing. Here is my offer : I will give a free Workshop at your school/studio if you invite me and provide travel expenses and (a simple) accomondation. To hold the workshop I will need a photostudio and a model. Content and duration of the workshop can be negotiated.   Fotoprojects Applications from models for my photoprojects are always welcome. Not only beauties, but also character-people are wanted, even if you do not intend to become a professionel model. I need all the rights for the pictures. A photoproject takes place when model, idea, time and place fit together. If you don't want to wait for this to happen I offer shootings for pay.   Wanted Locations away from the studio are always popular. From the machinery-hall to the penthouse-flat I might be inspired to new works. Whoever can help me to find a suitable loacation, can be sure of my thanks. Exhibitions complete my work.
